As Kiara wearily entered the city, her first thought was to try and find a pokemon center. Azzam and her new weedle, Xeco ((too lazy to bother typing real name)) needed healing.
Suddenly, her eyes came across the familiar sign, and she ventured into the building.

Kiara began to wander around the city. She didn't quite want to leave the city, as there was still a gym, yet she wanted to train her pokemon. The trainer decided to have a look around to see if she could find any city-dwelling wild pokemon for hers to battle (or capture, if she fancied it enough).

Without any warning, just as most wild Pokémon appear, a Raticate popped up from behind a large bush. "Raaaaa?" It tilted its head sideways, scurrying across the ground and ducking into shrubs, attempting to escape unseen to the Trainer.

"Go, Xicohtencatl!" Kiara cried, hearing the rustling of bushes. Her weedle popped out of his pokemon, looking around nervously before scuttling into some bushes, only to discover the raticate.
"WEEEEE!!" the weedle cried, waving his barbed stinger at the wild pokemon.
"Alright- you found a raticate! Xico, use poison sting!"

Ooc: I just thought I'd warn you that Raticates at LEAST are level 20, while your character's Weedle is just a level 6 or so. >.< You may or may not want to level him up first with something weaker. Maybe you should try the Slots. ^^

((Yeah, but can't I switch him out again, like in the games? He's level 7, I think If he survives this attack, then I'll switch him out. When the raticate dies, he'll get plenty of XP!!!))

Ooc: Good point. ^^ Alright. I will continue.
Bic: As a simple reaction, the Raticate charged forward with a powerful Tackle. "Ticate!" It hit, full force. However, it hadn't accounted for the damage of the Poison Sting that was sent at it just moments before. "Raaat." It twitched in pain, feeling the small dose of poison spread through its body.

"Uhoh!" Kiara thought, realising that her weedle was too weak to fight the rat-like pokemon. She returned Xico to his pokeball and threw out Azzam's.
"Use Bite!" she commanded.

The Dragon-type, which was much more powerful than the previous Pokémon, dealt much more damage when it attacked. Even so, Raticate continued the battle by using a Hyper Fang on Azzam, cutting at its side several times before even slowing down. "Raticate! Cate, Raticate!" It darted to a safe distance, one of about twenty feet.

Azzam growled, showing off his own sharp fangs. At Kiara's command, he charged for another bite, snarling.

Now quite angry by the second Bite, Raticate charged forward with its own attack, teeth barred. "Raticaaate!" Its front fangs glew silvery and starting almost chattering as it used the powerful Hyper Fang on the Dragon-type.

"BAAAAHH" Azzam cried, and Kiara made a face at the raticate. "Use another bite!" she commanded, watching her Bagon shake the other pokemon off and, in return, smash his head around for a viscious bite.

After receiving the powerful bite, Raticate dashed to a supposed "safe" distance and turned back towards the Dragon-type. Now completely enraged, it charged forward the a Quick Attack, hitting Azzam hard.

Azzam toppled over, feeling the force of the other pokemon's body sending him flying. Even so, the Bagon was determined to win. At Kiara's command, he bared his jaws as ferociously as he could and charged for another bite.

Although it was used repetatively, the Bite was virtually impossible for the creature to dodge. Even so, it pushed onward. Something was driving it--- it seemed insane to believe it could conquer the Dragon-type, especially since the trainer had another cluster of Pokémon to back it up. However, it used another Quick Attack, which was swiftly followed up by another Hyper Fang.

Kiara pursed her lips. Something was wrong with the raticate. She wondered if Nurse Joy would know what was wrong- she hadn't encountered such aggressive pokemon before, especially in a place where pokemon should be more tame (being fed, like squirrels).
"Bite it again, as hard as you can!" she shouted, her violet eyes twinkling.

Now even more outraged than before, the Normal-type Raticate darted forward in an all-out Quick Attack. Even though it was still furious and could've gotten in one more attack, it let slip out of mind.

Ooc: Sure XD THAT I can deal with!
Quickly a small electrike came out of nowhere and gave Kiara a challenging glare. "Eleeeectrike!" It cried. Something was different about this pokemon, it looked like it was in alot of pain. The electrike had a limping gesture, but it still wanted to fight. It pawed at the ground and moved side to side. "Trike! Electrike!"
ooc: Sorry, I'm a bit rusty at role-playing XP I haven't done it in awhile.

Kiara would have pitied the pokemon if it hadn't been so ready for battle. "Alright! Go, Kakuna! Use harden!"

Xico said nothing from within his cocoon. "Return, Xico!" Kiara cried as the Kakuna's body returned to his pokeball. "Go, Telor!"
An orange light transformed into the body of trapinch, who snarled at the Elektrike. "Tekor, use Bite!"

Now intimidated by the jaw-snapping Trapinch, Electrike cowered. However, it eventually scrounged up its courage and charged forward with a powerful Tackle, hitting Telor straight on. "Elec!" It darted back to the other side of their "arena" to wait out the next move.
