Charles shook his head. "Just forget about it...we have a long ways ahead of us. I'd say at least another few miles. Plus, it seems to be getting kind of late..." He smirked and pointed to the sun on the horizon. "We have a couple hours of daylight, yet, so let's not waste it." He pulled Vulpix up higher to ensure he doesn't drop her and continued walking. "Maybe I should evolve her...get it over with...nah."

"Ninetails would do good in contests, but I say leave her for now." Reika said, then she looked down at Sakura. "So, Sakura, ready to have one of your random conversations with the others?" Reika asked her dragon pokemon, Sakura sweatdropped. "*Sure...*" Reika smiled, "Come on out you guys!" Reika said, throwing five pokeballs. They released her pokemon, Shimmer, Toxic, Cherry, Hikari, and Twiggy. Hikari took off for flight, flying a few feet high in the air. "*I'll try to find a half decent place to camp!*" Hikari told Reika, flying off into the distance. "Go right ahead..." Reika muttered. So, as usual, her pokemon started up a conversation.
"*So, who's the new guy?*" Shimmer asked, clearly dumbfounded. "*Thats Charles, the guy Twig and Toxic battled.*" Sakura mumbled, a sweatdrop on her head. "*Ohhhhhh, what?*" Cherry asked. "*He's travailing with Reika.*" Sakura pointed out, Cherry started to randomly giggle. "*Ohhh, I know where this is gonna go!*" She said, flying around her brother, Toxic. "*What'cha mean?*" He asked. "*Cherry. Dont. Say. Anything.*" Sakura growled. Cherry nodded.

Charles nodded. "I didn't plan on evolving her now, but yes, a Ninetales would be a great Pokémon for contests. Not only are they strong, but they're beautiful too." Watching Reika let out all of her Pokémon made him think. "I'd let out all of mine, but two are knocked out, one's a Torkoal, so we'd get nowhere fast, and Vulpix is right here." A humor-filled smile appeared on his face, "You see where I'm going with this?" He joked again, looking towards all of Reika's Pokémon.
Vulpix, obviously well-versed in Pokétongue, understood everything they were saying to one another. Charles, however, did not. "I wonder what they're talking about..." He stared at Sakura for a moment, but turned his attention away before actually getting somewhere. "*I'm gonna leave you two alone...*" With that, Vulpix jumped and ran to the others. "*Don't think I cannot hear what you guys are saying...*" She seemed to be scolding them for thinking the way they do. "And, quite frankly, I must agree!*" She followed along side them, chuckling.

"All I can see right now is that your obsested with the fire type." Reika mumbled. "But then again, their not half bad, I say some of my favourites would be Arcanine and Houndoom. Houndoom mostly because it's also a Dark type." She added on.
"*So, you agree with me?*" Cherry asked the Vulpix. "*I say you should shut up cherry, we need to divise a... plan.*" Sakura said slyly, Cherry caught on. "*You want to?*" She asked, a glint in her big blue eyes. "*You guys wanna get Reika and Charles togeth--?*" Shimmer got cut off. "*Reika can understand us, SHADDUP!*" Sakura yelled at the Buldum.
Reika sweatdropped. "You really do not want to know what their talking about..." She mumbled, looking at her pokemon in a You-guys-can-shut-up-at-any-time-now glare.

Charles nodded, "Yeah, I've always been interested in Fire-types. They're powerful, graceful, and are impervious to most other types. Except Water. That's not good." He had a very sharp sarcastic tone right about now, but he quickly changed the subject back. "Arcanine's are another Pokémon that I hope on training. they're so...majestic, but powerful. It's really amazing..."
Vulpix turned to look up at Cherry, "*Yes, I'd have to agree with you. They should get together.*" She let out a shy laugh before looking back up at her trainer. "What're you talking abou---" He finally caught on and a very faint shade of pink appeared on his normally pale face. Acting as though he didn't get it, he looked back to Reika.

"Well, since you are a fire type trainer, I'm warning you now that I'm going to use my Shellder in the battles for the pokemon contest." Reika mentioned. "I say out of all pokemon, my two favourites are Umbreon and Espeon, their powerful when they team up, and also there's the fact that their both an Eevee evolution." She said a little while later.

"Alright, then. Don't you worry about me---I'll have evolved Vulpix into a Ninetales by then and they can pretty much handle Water-types." He smiled and looked down at his Pokémon. She rolled her eyes and quickly turned to speak with her new friends. "Who knows, I might just have another type ready for ya!" He winked and continued speaking, "Out of the Eeveelutions, I especially like Flareon and Umbreon. They're jsust...great. Oh, and I really like Absol."

"And there's somethin' we agree on, Absol's rock, I have one back in the Hoenn Region." Reika smiled, "My best team there right now is: Umbreon, Absol, Espeon, Swampert, Hariyama, and Raichu." She added on. "*Not a single Dragon type!?*" Sakura asked. "Yes, I have a Salamance, and a Vibrava... but thats all thats over there for Dragon types." Reika mumbled.

"Wow. That sounds like a great team." He nodded and walked closer to Reika. "Well...now that we're starting to talk, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?" A faint smile was spread across his lips, and his Vulpix knew exactly what he was trying to do. "Vul..." She shook her head in a sarcastic sort of way.

Sakura giggled. Ohmigawd, this is gonna be funny! She thought, the other pokemon were thinking along the same lines as that.
"Hmm, well, for as long as I can remember I've always liked Dark pokemon, in fact, my first pokemon was a Poochyena." Reika started, "But... nothing exciting has really happend in my life yet... so tell me a bit about yourself." She asked.

"Well, I dunno. I grew up in Jesse's shadow, and, well, that didn't really go too well. He was always the smart one...he's the one who set examples for me. When I couldn't do as well as he did, my parents were astonished..." He shook his head and changed to another part of his life.
"Well, my first Pokémon?" He smiled and closed his eyes, thinking back to the day he got it. "I was so excited---I went to Professor Oak and I got my very first Pokémon. It was a Cyndaquil. It's evolved now, of course. Typlosion is back home with Mum and Dad."

"Nice." Reika said. "And I'm sure having a brother has it's good traits to." Reika added on. "Well, I did beat the elite four in Hoenn, then after that I participated in contests." Reika said, trying to remember good things about herself.
"*Awww, I say we should go back in our pokeballs, then we can leave these two alone.*" Sakura said, winking at the others.

Vulpix stopped and turned to look at Sakura sarcastically. "*Really? I was looking forward to seeing them k---" She stopped herself, "Nevermind. I still know where this is going, Saku." She giggled to herself and picked up her pace.
"Awesome. I've been to Jhoto, Hoenn, and Kanto. Not Sinnoh, though. Nahra's the newest region, so I'm content with it." He smiled and went on, "I've entered in a few contests. Once with my Froslass---yes, I have more than just Fire-types. I did fairly well."

"Oh my god, it's amazing, you have more then one type of pokemon!" Reika said sarcasticly. "But thats pretty cool, Froslass are very... unique pokemon." Reika added on.
"*Ahh yesh, thats what I'm waiting for too.*" Sakura said to the Vulpix. "*Ohhh, I cant wait!*" Cherry said excitedly. "*Why do you girls care so much?*" Shimmer and Toxic said in unison, floating right beside each other. "*Because we're female, Toxic, your male, and Shim, you dont even have a gender, so why do you care?*" Sakura asked. "*No clue really.*" Shimmer replied in a daze.

"I know. They are pretty unique. Strange combination of types, though. Ice and Ghost---what's up with that?" He joked, and, realizing it wasn't funny, cleared his throat. "Well...this topic is just dragging on now, isn't it?" He looked up towards Reika and noticed that he'd been slowly drifting towards her the entire time. "Gah! Sorry..." He took a couple steps to the side so there was about three feet between them.

"It's alright, be thankful I don't have Misty's mallet with me." Reika joked. "*Say, Reika it's gettin' kinda late, and Hika should be back... right about... now.*" Sakura said. Just sa soon as she said 'now' Hikari came back, landing a few feet infront of Reika. "*Good news captain, I found a good camping ground just half a block away from here.*" Hikari reported. "Thats good. thanks Hikari." Reika said, "Hikari said that she found a spot to camp half a block from here." Reika told Charles. Hikari joined the rest of the pokemon at the back.
"*Shooooo, what were ya guys.. and girls talkin' 'bout while I was gone?*" Hikari asked. "*Not much.*" Sakura replied.

Charles shook his head sarcastically. "I'd be running right about now, so don't worry." He smiled again and looked up into the sky as Hikari appeared. "Oh, this is your Skarmory? Awesome..." He watched it for a moment before looking back at Reika. "Okay..a camp site about half a block away. Why, that's not very far at all. What is it? Less than 100 feet?" He raised a Pokéball and returned Vulpix. "You need to rest..."

"Good idea." Reika said, also returning her pokemon, except Sakura. "*Why you keepin' meh out?*" Sakura asked. "Your the only tamed one Saku." Reika mumbled. "*Ohh-Ohhhhh. I see.*" Sakura replied. Wheee, I wonder if anything exciting is gonna happen tonight... Sakura asked herself slyly.

"It's starting to get dark..." Charles pointed up towards the setting sun. "Beautiful, isn't it, Reika? I mean---the colors, feeling, and, I dunno. It's just amazing." He watched it for a moment before turning back to her. What am I doing?!? He thought to himself. "Err...but it is." He bit his tongue, knowing what he'd done seemed really stupid.

"Mhmm, yeah." Reika mumbled, she was deep in thought for a moment so she didn't hear Charles fully. "But a better time of day is the night time, because thats when the best of pokemon come out." Reika added on. "*You are really hopeless Reika.*" Sakura mumbled. "No I'm not Sakura. Shimmer is the one who is hopeless." Reika told her Dragon type. "*Ahh, good point.*" Sakura replied.

"Shimmer? Your Beldum? I'd be proud if I had a Beldum now. Once they evolve, they become super powerful. And not...stupid." He quickly added, laughing once he was done. "And yes, more Pokémon do seem to come out at night. Not really any Fire-type's though. A lot of Bug, Grass, and Dark types, I mean. But that's really about all..."

She said, walking over to her Dratini.

Charles nodded again. "Hey---it is a pretty nice clearing, isn't it?" He gazed around again, watching for Pokémon. "Oh, duh! They will come out, won't they? Oh! And Zubat and Golbat. Crobat aren't usually found in the wild, though, now are they?" He took a few more steps forward and stopped next to the Dratini. He patted it on the head and looked back up at Reika.

Reika sighed, putting down her black backpack and taking out her black sleeping bag. "Sakura, go find some fire wood please--" Reika got cut off, "*Yuppers captain!*" Sakura said, slithering away to find some fire wood. "--And Charles, once Sakura comes back, can you ask one of your fire pokemon to light a fire?" Reika asked, grabbing her pillow and putting it on her sleeping bag.

He nodded as he took a Pokéball from his belt. "Don't worry, I'm way ahead of ya!" He chuckled and tossed the Ball into the air. "Go, Torkoal!" With that and a flash of crimson light, the Fire-type tortoise appeared. "Koooaaaaal!" A puff of smoke came from her mouth and noise before turning to face Charles. "Could you go help Sakura, the Dratini, find some firewood, please?" And she wandered off...scooping up a few twigs and sticks and placing them on her back.
Once she was out of sight, Charles set his backpack on the ground and opened it wide. "Alrighty..." He pulled out his dark, metallic green sleeping bag and undrolled it. He quickly took off his vest and his shoes, only to sit down on the ground and get in his sleeping bag. "Aren't they just beautiful?" He seemed to be in a trance-like state now...

Reika took off her shoes and sat on her sleeping bag, not even a bit tierd yet. "Mhmm." She mumbled. Soon Sakura came back with a very big bundle of twigs. "*This should of been Twiggy's job.*" She muttered, putting the sticks on the ground, in between Charles and Reika. "Thanks Sakura, you can take a break now." Reika said, returning Sakura to her pokeball, then sliding into her sleeping bag.

Torkoal, as slow as she seemed, came up just behind Sakura. "*Tired...*" With that, she tossed her few sticks into the fire and used a quick Ember attack to light it. "*G'night...*" She leaned on the ground---Charles' cue to return her, which he did. "G'night, Torkoal." He replaced the ball to it's position and slid into his bag. "The stars, I meant." He chuckled and stared up at them. "They are beautiful...just li---Nevermind."

I hope you know, I hope you know, that this has nothing to do with you. It's personal, myself and I, we got some stratinin' out to do, and I'm gonna miss you, like a child misses their blanket, but I gotta get a move on with my life, it's time to be a big girl now, and big girls don't cry.

Reika shrugged. "Just leave it, if it's a pokemon, dont worry, if it's a pack of Mightyena, I can handle it." She said, sitting up in her sleeping bag. "But if it's a swarm of Beedrill, on my count we run." She said jokeingly.
