A small eevee giggled excitedly as his feet sunk right into the sand. The eevee looked over to Poochyena and Demitri who were sticking to the hard ground and grass. "Eevee!" Koda shouted pointing over towards the water. He ran over and looked right into the river. Trying to peer past his reflection, he looked around for some water pokemon. "Eevee, don't get too wet or you'll be cold all night," Demitri said glancing over to the Eevee. They were only just leaving Aura town, having done their business there. Kenji gave a roll of his eyes and sat down. "A rest already?" Demitri said looking down at the pokemon. "Alright..." Demitri sat down right next to Kenji and put his backpack by his feet. He leaned against the tree and shut his eyes for a quick nap.
But just as he was doozing off he heard a snarl. His eyes quckly opened to see Kenji pinning down Koda. "Poochy..." he snarled in Koda's face. "Kenj, what are you do-" He cut himself off as he noticed a rod in Koda's mouth and the bag opened and the item all pouring out. "Koda, why were you taking my rod?" Koda gave a large toothy grin through the rod and sat up, pushing Kenji off of him. "EEVEE!" Koda said looking over to the river.
"I have no bait..."Demitri said shutting his eyes for a nap, this time actually falling asleep. "Poochyena...."(I know where we can find some bait...) Kenji said with a smirk. He walked over to Koda and grinned. "Poochy, Poo."(Time for a swim...) Kenji quickly pushed Koda right into te water with a smirk. When Koda finally surfaced, he found himself a bit farther out from the shore. "EEVEE!" Koda cried as he splashed around in a panick. He couldn't swim very well and it was too deep to stand. Poochyena didn't even notice this and just tossed the end of the string into the water with a jerk of his neck. He put his paw onto the end of the rod and waited. "Poochyena. Poochy!"(Stop moving, you're scaring all the pokemon. Just sit there and look delicious.)

Ooc: Wow. That's, erm, a different way to catch fish. Creative, I must admit. ^^

As the Eevee wriggled in the water, it drew some unwanted attention. Attention that was most likely unwanted by Koda, anyway. A Magikarp, just over three feet in height, raced towards the struggling Pokémon. And, being as stupid as Magikarp are, bit down on its leg and pulled desperately at the pool. It looked as though it were trying to break the Eevee off and pull it down into the depths of the river. "Karp!" It breached, jumping about six feet above the surface and taking the Eevee with it.
Ooc: The line is still 'snagged' on Koda. Just letting you know...

"Poochyena poo pooch! Ena!"(Yay! I caught one) Kenji cheered. But he suddenly frowned upon seeing the reel. "Poochy..." He cursed lightly. He put his paw on the reel, making it go down. That reeled it in quite a bit, but he didn't know how to get it back up. So he just grabbed onto the rod with his jaws and began to walk away from the shore in hopes that it would pull them closer. Koda was struggling a lot but suddenly jaws clamped down on his leg, he gave a large scream. As he was pulled under, he inhaled a bit of water. He coughed as he was pulled to the surface. But slowly he noticed that he was getting pulled closer to the shore. He looked over to see Poochyena running away from the river, with the rod in his mouth.

The Magikarp yanked harder at the Eevee, pulling it a bit further out into the stronger currents of the river. "Magikarp!" It breached again, flying up into the air with the Eevee still in its mouth. Not a second later, it crashed back into the water and dived way down, pulling Poochyena backwards as well. It swam back to the surface and jumped again---this time, the wrong way. It was obviously confused with the struggling 'bait' in its mouth, and going under water so often wasn't really helping. It ended up jumping up onto shore, gasping for breath. "Karp---Karp! Magikarp..." It released Koda and flopped around helplessly, eventually slapping the Eevee in the face with its tail.
Magikarp: 96%
Kenji: 99%
Koda: 91%

Koda put a paw to his face and backed up from the Magikarp. "Ee" (Ow..) He was a bit sore from being dragged around by the fish. He collapsed in the sand and coughed up some water. He needed a good rest. He looked over to Poochyena who was running at the Magikarp. Kenji ran behind it so that he was inbetween it and the river. He used a quick sand-attack so that it'd have a harder time without water and to lower it's accuracy. He ran at it once more and used tackle to try and push it further from the water.

"Karp!" It gasped for another breath and slapped at Kenji when it Tackled it. "Magikarp! Kaaar!" It flopped around again, slowly making its way towards the water. "Kaarrppp..." It flipped again, landing in the water. Resurfacing, it shouted at Kenji, "Magi, Magikarp!" It dove deep down underwater and disappeared from any creatures sight....
Magikarp: 84% -Accuracy
Kenji: 96%

"Kenji, what's going on?" Demitri mumbled as he awoke. He looked over to the pair and began to walk over. "Why is Koda all wet?" He picked the exhausted Koda up as Koda cuddled into his arms. "Eevee...."(It's /his/ fault) Koda pointed to Kenji angrily. But Kenji just shrugged and picked the rod up. Perhaps they would see that Magikarp again but he didn't care currently. He put the rod right into the bag and began to push everything into the bag with his nose. Demitri picked up the bag and said, "Did you guys find some bait? It looks like you went fishing..." Kenji smirked. "Poochyena, pooch poochy." (You could say that....) Kenji walked next to Demitri as they began to head out again. Kenji looked back to the river to see if he could see the Magikarp, but unfortunately he couldn't. So they just left without battling it.

Spotting Kenji looking into the river made it tick. "Karp..." It 'growled' from deep beneath the surface. "Magikarp." It swam swiftly towards the surface, glaring at the Poochyena. "Magikarp!" It's entire body emerged from the water and rammed Kenji in an all-out Tackle. "Magikarp, Karp, Karp, Magik!" (I never flee from a battle!) It flopped backwards towards the water but was out of breath from the hard swimming it had just down. So, it layed on the ground about ten feet from the Sustrite's edge. "Karp..." It gasped as its entire body moved up and down.
Magikarp: 84% -Accuracy
Kenji: 88%
