"Go fish." Jackie said as he held several cards in his hand. On his shoulder sat Gallieno facing the other way while his cards floated in front of him. On Jackie's left floated the rest of the deck, which the top card now flew off and joined the rest of Gallieno's cards. "Hmm, any five's?" Jackie asked the Ralts. He smiled as a five of spades and a five of diamonds joined his five of hearts. "Ralts, ralts, ralts?" Gallieno asked. Jackie smiled, he had learned how to play 'Go Fish' with pokemon years ago. By counting how many times the pokemon spoke in one go, he could figure out what cards they were asking for. True the number's only went up to ten, but for the Jack, Queen and King it'd be 11, 12 and 13. "Drat." Jackie said as he passed his three of clubs to Gallieno, making the Ralts smile with it's success.

A small rumbling noise, followed by the disturbance of dirt, could easily be noticed up ahead. The dirt raised into a mound and the crown of a Diglett appeared, preceeded by the Pokémon shouting its' name repetatively. "Lett!" It stared off towards both Jackie and Gallieno the Ralts. "Dig?" It inquired, diving back into the ground. Making its way by burrowing, it came up through the ground directly ahead of Jackie. "DIGLETT!" It lashed out and used Scratch on Gallieno, tearing one of its cards into three or four pieces. "Let!" It burrowed underground, only to appear about ten yards away, laughing and mocking the two of them.

Jackie had stopped to look up at the sound of a pokemon, only just catching the diglett lash out. "Ralts!" Gallieno stared at the now floating pieces of what had been a ten of diamonds. Jackie looked back at the card, before turning to glare at the diglett. "Oh, you just messed with the wrong trainer! Gallieno, let's teach this Diglett it's wrong to destroy someone elses things!" Jackie shouted, watching all the cards return to the deck. Placing the deck back in his pocket, he also took the destroyed card and placed that in a smaller, safer pocket. He'd use some cellotape to fix that, but it didn't change the fact the Diglett just got on his bad side. Gallieno jumped off of Jackie's shoulder and faced the Diglett looking determined. "This'll be a good chance to test what my father taught me." Jackie mumbled before putting on his stern, serious expression and pose. 'Okay Gallieno, use confusion.' Jackie thought towards the Ralts. "Ra ralts!" Gallieno said before using Confusion on the Diglett.

Diglett flinched as it was struck by the Confusion attack. "Lett, Dig, Diglett!" It cried as it shook its head, which just happened to be most of its body. "Diglett!" It was angry, and it took this anger out by unleashing a Sand Attack. "Lett!" It shouted as sand was hurled into the Ralts' eyes, lowering its accuracy. "Diglett." Content, it burrowed under ground and resurfaced on the opposite side of both of them, gocking and mocking their every move.

Jackie frowned, so this Diglett wanted to play that game. Turning to look to Gallieno, he let him rub the sand from his eyes before giving instructions. 'How about we play a little game of Reverse Psychology? Try mocking the Diglett, if it goes underground use your horns to track it's vibrations. When you feel it coming back up, aim a Confusion at it.' Jackie thought to Gallieno. Gallieno lookd up, then nodded. With a small smile, Jackie jumped to the side of the path. "Ralts Ra Ralts Ralts?" Gallieno mocked the Diglett. (That all you got?)

"Lett, Dig, Lett, Diglett!" It replied, burrowing underground and resurfacing by them, using Scratch again. Still confused, its own attack struck its face, which seemed quite odd for a Scratch attack... "Dig. Diglett, Diglett Diglett, Dig!" It waddled in one place until finally going underground only to pop up a few yards behind Gallieno and Jackie. "Diglett!"

Gallieno watched, keeping a track on the Diglett's. He dodged when the Diglett resurfaced but realised he needn't have had to since the Diglett scratched itself. Gallieno stood ready, aiming a Confusion right where the Diglett reappeared. 'Good job Gallieno, keep it up.' Jackie thought, at least the reverse psychology was somewhat working.

Diglett was struck with Confusion, knocking it back into the ground. It emerged from the same whole, facing the wrong way. Frustrated, it cried out, "Diglett, Dig, Dig!" Obviously, it thought that its opponent, Gallieno, had left, that is, until it turned around once more. "Lett!" It burrowed underground and popped up by Gallieno again. "Diglett!" It used Scratch on itself again, but this time it followed up with Astonish, which actually hit Gallieno. "Lett!" It cried happily, backing away from Gallieno and Jackei by burrowing again.

Jackie and Gallieno muffled a laugh at the poor Diglett, facing the wrong way until it turned back round to correctly face them. Gallieno didn't even bother to dodge, as the Diglett popped up again beside him. He smiled as it scratched itself again, but didn't expect the Astonish and was pushed back by the attack. 'Be careful Gallieno, it may be confused but it can still hit you.' Jackie warned. Gallieno nodded, waiting for the Diglett to reappear. When it did, he used Growl followed instantly up by another Confusion attack.

"Diglett!" It cried as it was struck by the Confusion attack. Angrily, it used Scratch, which, because of Gallieno's Growl, was weaker. It hit itself again regardless, causing it to shrink down slightly into a hole from both embarassment and fear. "Diglett." It stared, calming down a little bit. "Diglett..." It glared off at the Ralts, still terrified and angry towards it.

Jackie looked thoughtful for a moment. Gallieno stood waiting for his trainer's order's, occasionally glancing from Jackie to the frightened Diglett. Ater a few moments Jackie looked to Gallieno. 'Just use a growl for now.' Jackie ordered. Nodding, Gallieno used growl. "Raallttss!"

Diglett didn't mind the Growl so much, especially since it only lowered his Attack. "Diglett!" It burrowed underground, only to emerge using a Scratch that actually landed on Gallieno. Happily, it went back through its tunnel and came up in its last whole, for once it was content with what it did on its move. "Diglett." It finally sounded happy, but was still aware of its surroundings.

Gallieno took the scratch, a little more prepared this time. Jackie chuckled. At least it was scared anymore. 'Do the growl, confusion combination again.' Jackie ordered. Gallieno complied, using Growl as a distraction following straight away with a Confusion attack.

Diglett, not prepared well enough for the combination, fell backwards from the Confusion attack. "Lett!" It struck the ground and immediately burrowed underground again, clearly upset. "Diglett!" It shouted as it emerged at a distance and used Scratch on a tree. It was clearly Confused...After its relentless efforts, it burrowed underground and popped up next to Gallieno, its own back facing them. "Diglett?" ((Where are you?)) "Lett!" It bashed its head on the ground, causing some minor damage.

Gallieno and Jackie watched the Diglett in silence, finding the poor confused ground-type amusing. Once the Diglett popped up next to Gallieno facing the wrong way yet again, Gallieno looked from the Diglett, to Jackie then back to the Diglett. 'Use a full force Growl' Jackie ordered with amusement. Gallieno smiled, then took a deep breath before using a loud, full force growl. "RAAALLLTTTSSSS!"

Diglett let out a shrill shreik before almost crying. "Lett...Diglett..." It eventually broke down into tears of fear and confusion. "Lett!!!" It burrowed underground, only to emerge just below Gallieno using both Astonish and Scratch at full strength. "Lett." It said contently, burrowing further away from the two of them. "Diglett."

Gallieno chuckled at how he scared the Diglett, though it distracted him from tracking the Diglett and didn't expect the double attack. Gallieno was sent flying a few feet, righting himself before he hit the ground. 'Use a Confusion on it.' Gallieno obeyed, once again using Confusion.

The Diglett, like the many times before, was hit with Confusion, sending him onto his back. "Lett, Dig?" It got up and went swiftly underground. Soon, it came out of the ground far away and used Scratch on itself three or four times, one of which was a Critical Hit. "DIGLETT!" It shreiked angrily, using Astonish from the distance on Gallieno. "Diglett." It was happy again, although covered in its own Scratches.

Gallieno squeaked as the Astonish and looked up at Jackie. There was a smile on his face. 'I have an idea. Try going down one of the holes Diglett has made and catch Diglett off guard. When you confront Diglett, use confusion followed by a growl.' Jackie thought to Gallieno. The Ralts nodded and jumped down one of the many holes that now littered the path.

Diglett burrowed again, but this time through an already existing one. One that it had made just a few minutes before. The ability to see in the darkened tunnel was almost nothing---little or no light at all reached through them, obviously. It continued, regardless Gallieno, who was heading directly towards it.

Jackie waited patiently, watching the Diglett intently. Underground, Gallieno was checking every hole he came across for the Diglett. Soon enough, he found the Diglett and used Confusion, followed by a growl just as Jackie commanded.

The Diglett, surprised, let out a shrill cry of both terror and pain as it was struck with Confusion. "Diglett!" It flew backwards and forcefully came back up through one of its previously made holes. "Dig?!" It dove back underground until it found Gallieno and used Scratch and Astonish. Scratch was successful, but not Astonish. The Diglett cringed and fell back in pain before coming back to the surface of the ground.
