Charmander, serious face and all, walked out on the battle field and preceded to pose in the stadium spot light, flexing his nonexistant muscles. The cue was given, and he was supposed to step asside as rehersed so Snover could be introduced by the announcer, but he suddenly stopped moving and-Oh no, he wouldn't. Reg groaned and shook her head as Charmander flashed a smile and his shiny golden tooth, er fang, glittered in the light. That is incredibly ghetto. Reg looked dour, silently cursing whoever Charmander's previous owner was. The little mobster had to be shoved forcefully from the spotlight. And Snover padded over and squinted in the brightness. As the announcer's voice came on, Snover looked spooked and looked around in quick jerky movements, trying to find out where the giant was that was talking so loud and hoping he didn't have to battle it. Reg laughed and almost missed her own cue. Tonight she was wearing a cherry red tank top, her father's dog tags, a few studded bracelets, grey boxers with lightning bolts on them peeking out of the top of her baggy tan cargo pants. Her long hair was back up in a messy bun, out of her way, and her gravity defying mohawk rose like an unforgettable statement. She walked confidently into the light and stared out into the vague faces of the vast audience. As the announcer spoke her name, Charmander and Snover rejoined her on either side for support. "Let's do it." She said, and each grunted determinedly in reply. They moved out onto the field, ready for her command.

As Tsukino waited for his pokemon to get their share of fun he watched Shadow, he loyal partner walk into the spotlight, also showing off just as much. He wagged his tail happily from all the attention, then quickly strolled off. Next up came Meowth, the newest addition to the gang. He hesitated before walking out into the battle field but got it over with and also fallowed Shadow. Tsukino (strange as it may seem) Did not wear his trademark(ish) Pikachu ears and tail. Instead he was only wearing his red shirt and ragged jeans. Tsukino then got ready for the fight by putting his goggles on his eyes and fists infront of him as if he was in a boxing match.

Reg smiled wide and nodded at him in greeting before the battle start was announced and she changed her expression into professionally impartial. Reggie wanted a drastic, unexpected manuever to start with, having both her Pokemon work together flawlessly. Snover fired an icy wind on the ground near the foes, freezing it and making that half of the battle field slippery. But this wasn't the end of Reg's strategy. Charmander let out a well aimed ember attack, melting the thin ice quickly and turning it into a scalding hot steam that surrounded Meowth and Poochyena. An oppresive thick heat filled with boiling droplets of water.

Tuskino stepped back from the steam-filled arena, his goggles getting fogged up. He wiped them quickly and looked at the field, which some how looked spooky. Meowth jumped at charmander and did fake out. Once meowth jumped out of the way, Shadow came from the side and used bite on charmander.

Charmander managed to dodge Meowth's attack, but was so busy focusing on the cat Pokemon that he didn't see Shadow come in. Luckily Snover did and got between them, the high level Pokemon taking the attack and countering with a close range powder snow, wincing from the fierceness of the bite.

Shadow flinched from the icy attack, then recovered his footing and made an attemt to bit charmander. Meowth then jumped up and went for a fury swipe attack on Snover.

Reg ordered her Pokemon to jump back and get out of range of physical attacks. Instead of getting a full bite attack, Charmander's belly got nipped as he jumped back a little. Grunting he attempted to slap Poochyena with a scratch attack to the face then leapt back till he was far from the dog Pokemon like Reg ordered. Snover suffered two furious swipes till he too got out of range quickly. Charmander growled to lower Meowth and Poochyena's attack while Snover flung a vortex of razor sharp leaves at them. (just found out *is checking the R/S guide book on attacks* that razor leaf hits both the foes in a two on two battle and has a high chance for critical hit)
She had studied up on Tsukino and knew Shadow was his favorite and Meowth was his strongest, so he'd probably use those two. Not taking chances though, she memorized them all. As for Shadow and the Meowth, only the Poochyena had two attacks that didn't require physical contact, and niether of them (howl and sand attack) could cause any damage to Charmander and Snover's HP. While her Pokemon had long distance attacks and that was her advantage. As long as Charmander and Snover stayed back and fired away, they were pretty safe. But Tsukino was clever, he had proven that by beating Jesse (though she figured Jesse didn't use his strongest Pokemon against Tsukino), and Reg knew it would be stupid to think she had it in the bag now.

Ooc:; I don't mind. But when you switch that counts as your turn and you can't attack with the Pokemon you just switched in till your next post (this rule is for me as well).

Ooc:; And remember Oddish is weak against both ice and fire since it's a grass type. And Sneasel can't do much better than Poochyena. Plus the only Pokemon that really has a chance against my higher lever Snover is Meowth because it is also a higher level. So your best bet is to have Shadow and Meowth work together to try to get close to Charmander and Snover enough to get a hit in rather then firing off individual attacks (make these attacks a combo, like what you did earlier). Also use Sand attack a lot so that my Pokemon's accuracy will be toast. That should even the playing ground. Plus if you switch out Pokemon, that will just make the battle longer.

ooc: Geez, I just relized this, thanks Scratt XD Oh wells...I'm not the best when it comes to elements. And sorry It's taking so long..
Tsukino called to his pokemon to step back alittle from the other pokemon. Then shouted "Shadow! Sand attack on Charmander! Meowth, once Shadow does his move, try and take a bite from snover!" And quickly Shadow kicked up his sand attack and made a cloud of dust form around Charmander, then Meowth went in to attack Snover.

As Sand Attack hit Charmander, the fire lizard seemed to explode into a black cloud, but really he just happened to let out a Smokescreen around himself at the same time, lowering his own accuracy even further. Snover moved out of the way as the cloud spread like sickness, slow and thick, till it covered a whole corner of the battle field. But Charmander didn't need accuracy, when Reg was calling out where the foes were and Charmander would let off an Ember in that direction, then change position in the cloud so the enemy wouldn't know where he was based on which direction his attack came from. He let off an Ember at Shadow, then one at Meowth, then subsided and moved like a ghost in the smoke.
Snover allowed Meowth to Bite his arm, catching the cat Pokemon by surprise as he pulled him closer, grabbed the Meowth harshly as soon as he let go of Bite, spun and let go, sending him flying straight at Shadow. Then he let off a Razor Leaf at them both.

ooc: Gah! Sorry it's takeing so long Scratt. I just can never get a good chance. And my battle strats. arn't in good shape at the momment. I clearly have a weakness XP
Tsukino bite his lip and held back a retort. He was very nervous at the momment and quickly stood up straight, trying not to look worried. "Meowth, scratch attack on Snover! Shadow, try a bite attack at Charmander!" And both pokemon quickly fallowed his orders.

In order to bite Charmander, Shadow would have to enter the choking black cloud that the fire lizard lurked in, lowering his own accuracy as he did so. Reg uttered a warning and Charmander stood on guard, using his hearing as he couldn't trust his eyes with the shifting shadows. He heard the shallow breathing of the little dark wolf to his left too late as Poochyena launched forward and bit his side; Charmander snaked his upper body around so he could let loose a close range Ember. The smell of burnt fur permeated the air and Charmander grinned with his fangs, evil-like, whisps of after smoke flickering out the sides of his mouth. Snover tried dodging but didn't quite make it, ten angry scratches ripped into him, patches of his fur clumped in Meowth's claws. He growled and fired off a Grasswhistle, hoping to make the cat Pokemon fall into a deep sleep.
