I walked up to the large building, slightly out of breath. It was a long hike to here from my own little home - but it was the closest starter lab by far.
I took off my little cloak and folded it neatly in my bag. I had started my journey quite early in the morning in order to make it here in the afternoon. It had been chilly near the river (as it always was in those beautiful misty mornings) so I had worn my cloak. Even with the cloud cover and slight (but wonderful) breeze, perspiration was starting to form under my short hair on the back of my neck.
I walked toward the door a knocked. I hoped the Professor heard me. I knocked a slightly quiet three times before leaning against the wall and sliding to sit on the ground. I didn't like knocking more then necessary and sounding too persistent.

Ooc: I'm sorry to bother you, but would you mind using third person? It reads much easier and is in roleplaying ettiquette. Thanks a bunch. ^^
Bic: After the initial sound of the knocking, it was shockingly quiet. That is, until a loud "myah!" echoed from behind the door of the laboratory. Immediately following the yelp, the door was pulled open by a short, middle-aged man. "Hello, there." He smiled, pulling back the tremendous, extremely heavy oaken door to allow the newbie trainer inside. "Welcome to the Nahra Region." With that, he motioned for the girl to step inside.
