Well, this story is based off of a region a friend and I made, and it also uses several of my roleplaying characters in it X3 If you can help me think of a better title, PLEASE let me know ^^
Chapter One- One Becomes Two!
Her feet were pounding against the soil as she ran. She ran with her Misdreavus by her side. Her name? Allison. She was on a quest. Not just any quest, but a quest to become a great breeder. She had grown up on a ranch with her parents, and they had taught her about pokemon. They had also had a breeding facility on the ranch, and Allison had spent most of her time there. But she couldn’t worry about that now. She had received five Pokeballs and a Pokedex from her parents before she had left home. She and her partner, Misdreavus, finally came to a stop. They had reached their destination. Shire Town.
She looked around, noting the large Pokemon Lab in the center of the small town. Then she noticed a girl outside the lab. She had black hair, about down to her shoulders, and a Flower that rested neatly in her hair as well. She was wearing a light green tank top, and a deep red skirt. She kept looking at the lab. Allison wanted to go see if anything was wrong.
“Hey,” she called. The girl looked towards her. “What’s wrong?” she asked. The girl just looked towards the Lab once more.
“I-I want to get my starter pokemon, but I’m just to nervous to go in,” she said.
“We’ll go with you,” Allison said, “right, Midnight?” ‘Midnight’ was the name of her Misdreavus.
“Misdreavus…” Midnight replied, and nodded her head.
“Oh, thank you!” the black-haired girl said, almost hugging the two. She had been standing outside of the lab for an hour. “By the way, my name is Marisa Taylors. But please, just call me Lavender.”
“Okay Lavender,” Allison replied, “I’m Allison Teske. You can call me Allison or Alli, but please don’t call me Al!”
“Okay Allison,” Marisa said as she looked up at the door. She knocked quite firmly, but her hand shook all the while.
Inside the lab, there were several banging noises from the inside, but soon they could hear the lock turning and a woman answered the door. She adjusted her glasses and smiled at the two.
“Hello, I’m Professor Blossom. How may I help you today?” she asked.
“I-I’d like to get my starter pokemon…” Marisa said, and Professor Blossom smiled even more. She opened the door so that they could both enter.
“We have several types of pokemon here at the lab, which type are you interested in?” the Professor asked.
“I’d like a grass pokemon please,” Marisa said, starting to build confidence in herself.
“Let’s see…we have Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko, Turtwig,” the Professor said, beginning the list, but Marisa stopped her.
“I-I’d like a Chikorita please…” she said, hopeful.
“Of course!” The professor smiled and opened a glass dome filled with pokeballs. She dug through them for a while, but finally pulled one out and handed it to Marisa.
“There you go!” she said, then also handed her five Pokeballs and a Pokedex.
“Thank you, Professor,” Marisa said, as she, Allison, and Midnight left the lab.
“See? That wasn’t so hard!” Allison said, and Marisa smiled.
“I only had the courage to do it because you were there…” she said, looking down at her Chikorita’s pokeball.
“Well then, I think we should travel together,” Allison said, “That is, if you want to..”
“I’d love to!” Marisa blurted out, a little louder then she had hoped. Her face turned bright pink. Allison smiled and put her arm around Marisa’s shoulder.
“Well Lavender, let’s head out then,” Allison said as they headed towards the exit of town. Midnight floated after them.
