Reika and her five pokemon, Shimmer, Sakura, Twiggy, Toxic and Cherry saw the lake, ran/flew to the opening, and went to the water's edge. Reika went threw her backpack, and found her fishing rod. She casted it to the middle of the lake, and waited for a pokemon to nibble on it.
Again her pokemon were talking.
"*So what do we do, only Sakura can go into the water...*" Toxic said, perching on a branch. "*I don't know.*" Twiggy replied sitting on a branch opposite to Toxic. Cherry rested on Reika's head. "*Lets be quite and wait for a water pokemon to bite the bait.*" Cherry whispered to the others, they nodded.

Ooc: By the way, Farfetch'd is basically a duck, which can swim. xD
Bic: Deep beneathe the water's surface, life was bustling about. Many Pokémon moved along; Magikarp, Goldeen, Feebas, and even the occassional Chinchou. But, none of them took the bait at the end of the Fishing Rod. Hmm, maybe they were all used to fishers. Maybe they knew what was really going on, and, if they took the bait, they'd be taken away by a mysterious person. Obviously all of the fish-like Pokémon knew that, but not a tiny little Shellder! It clamped onto the bait, sucking it into its mouth. Realizing it was caught on the line now, it used Withdraw to pull itself all the way into its shell before closing it up. "Shell..." It groaned, realizing the worst...

Ooc: oh yeah, that explains the big beak...
Bic: Reika felt a little tug on the fishing line, so she pulled as had as she could, and what shot out of that water was the little Shellder, witch landed with a 'thud' on top of Twiigy's head. "*Owwie.*" He moaned, shaking his head, trying to got the Shellder off.

"Shell!" It shreiked, wiggling a bit as it fell off of Twiggy's head. Shellder was obviously afraid of it being taken out of its home---the Lake, that is. Acting out of fear more than anything, it attacked Twiggy with Icicle Spear, sending three shards of ice at the bird. "Shellder!" It wiggled around before clamping its shell tightly shut using Withdraw. "Der..." It moaned from inside.
Shellder: 100% +Defense
Twiggy: 92%
Ooc: Make it a one on one, this time. That way, Twiggy/whoever you use will gain more experience.

Ooc: Ok, Twiggy will battle Shellder.
Bic: "Come on Twiggy, lets battle!" Reika said, all the other pokemon went and sat by a tree to watch. Twiggy flew up to Reika and landed on her shoulder. "Twiggy, use Peck to open up that Shellder, and once the shell is opened, use Sand Attack to lower the accuracy." Reika said to her leek loving duck pokemon, Twiggy nodded and flew up towards the Shellder.

"Ell, Ell, DER!" Shellder moaned as it was pecked repeatedly by Twiggy. "Der..." It stabilized itself, finally laying flat on the ground as the Flying-type continued to use Peck. Out of annoyance and not pain, it opened its shell and used Supersonic, confusing Twiggy immediately after Shellder was hit with Sand Attack. "Shell!" It used its long and versitile tongue to move the sand out of its shell and quickly followed up with another Icicle Spear. In the end, it launched four spears, and, when content, it mocked the bird. "Shellder!" It wiggled, moving a few feet forward to position itself for another attack.
Shellder: 95% -Accuracy
Twiggy: 82% +Confusion

"Ok Twiggy, take it to the skys!" Reika yelled. Twiigy, still confused, tried to pick up the Shellder, and if he managed to do that, he would fly up as high as he could, then drop the shellder and use Aerial Ace.

Shellder, amazed that Twiggy worked through its own Confusion, was baffled when it was pulled by the bird up into the sky. Fearful of what was about to happen, it unleashed another Supersonic, which was useless, seeing that the Farfetch'd was already confused. "Shell?!" It gazed around, nervous that it was so high in the air in such a short amount of time. "Der, Shellder, Shell!" Never being so high in the atmosphere made it begin to 'hyper-ventilate', if that's even possible. "DER!" It used Icicle Spear as it began to fall, but missed. All three spears missed! Before it could counter, it was struck with Aerial Ace and sent plummeting to the ground. "Der..." It moaned, having taken a Critical Hit. Rolling over, it used Withdraw again.
Shellder: 70% +Defense
Twiggy: 82%

Bic: Reika smiled as her plan work, but she wouldn't use the same one too often. "Ok Twig, lets let out a little Fury here!" Reika called. Twiggy smiled (if it is possible for a bird pokemon to smile...) and unleashed a Fury Attack.

"Der!" It moaned as it was tossed around with the Flying-types leek. "Shellder!" It fell to the ground once the attack ceased and opened up its shell again. "Der!" It unleashed an Icicle Spear, hitting Twiggy with only one out of three shards. "Der?!" It clamped shut again, only to open up just moments later---curious.
Shellder: 62%
Twiggy: 75%

"Keep up the good work Twiggy!" Reika called to her bird pokemon, smiling. "Now, use Aerial Ace!" She commanded. Twiggy nodded and flew up into the sky, starting another Aerial Ace.

The Shellder wasn't paying attention as Twiggy flew up into the sky, and, because of this, wasn't expecting the sudden Aerial Ace. "Shell?!" The Water-type turned just in time to see the Flying-type dive down and ram into the side. "Der!" It used an Icicle Spear and Supersonic combonation, confusing Twiggy and hitting him with two shards of ice at the same time. "Shellder!" It wriggled about happily, its motion restricted by its shell.
Ooc: I am speeding this up a bit...xDD Hope you don't mind.
Shellder: 34%
Twiggy: 48% +Confusion

Bic: Twiggy, paranoid by all of the icicle spears, pecked at the Shellder with brutal force. "'Kay Twiggy, looks like you know what to do..." Reika mumbled sitting down on the soft green grass.

Now very angry and upset after Twiggy's last Peck attack, Shellder used another Icicle Spear, hitting only once. This one hit, however, was a Critical one, taking a great amount of health from the Flying-type. "Shellder!" It wriggled about, again restricted by its heavy shell on dry land. "Der!" It gazed at the no-longer-confused Farfetch'd. "Der?!" It fearfully used Withdraw, hiding inside its hard purple shell.
Shellder: 23%
Twiggy: 26%

Twiggy was getting more excited by the minute. He flew up into the air and used an Aerial Ace.
On the other side, the pokemon were having a bet on who would win.
"*I say Twig's gonna win.*" Sakura implied, smiling evilly at the other pokemon. Cherry, Toxic, and their new found friend Hikari the Skarmory agreed. "*I am so sure that the shellder will win!*" Shimmer said, the others sweatdropped. "*Way to be supportive to your team mates Shimmer.*" Cherry said, giving him a cold glare.

As Twiggy's speed increased to the point of near invisibility, Shellder turned as far as he could each way, carefully watching for the Flying-types reappearance. "Der!" It moaned as it was hit, flying backwards and into a tree. "Shell..." It moaned, wriggling again. "Shellder, Shell!" It used Icicle Spear as one of its last moves and followed it up with a Withdraw. Sitting safely inside its shell, it waited for the worst.
Shellder: 11% Catchable[/i] +Defense
Twiggy: 15%
Ooc: You can still catch it. I have just created a box. xP So, there. That works.

Bic: Reika smiled, popped open her black backpack, took out an empty pokeball, and threw it at the Shellder, hoping to catch it.
"*See, Twig won!*" Sakura told her companions. "*NOOOOOO! Dang you Shellder!*" Shimmer cried, he lost, so he couldn't talk for three hours. Sakura smiled evilly. "*Ahh, a Beldum that finally stops talking, it's a miracle...*" She said, everyone nodded. "*So since most of us- except you Sakura- can fly, why don't you take a ride on on my back for a while?*" Hikari asked Sakura. "*sounds fair enough to me.*" The dragon type replied.

Shellder, still inside of its tough shell, obviously couldn't see the Pokéball that was hurled at it. The Ball hit and bounced off, opening in midair. A stream of crimson light shot at the Water-type and sucked it inside. "Shellll!" It disappeared just before the Ball came plummeting back to the ground, landing softly. It blinked four times before remaining still again. -----Congratulations! Reika has obtained a Shellder!----- -Going to box-  Name: ? ? ? "Sweet!" Reika cheered, as the pokeball magicly disapeard into a pokemon box. "*Yay me! Yay me!*" Twiggy yelled, causing the rest of the pokemon to yell, "*shaddup Twiggy!*" "*Sorry...*" Twiggy said flying over to his team mates. "'Kay you guys, Sakura can stay with me and the rest of you can go flying up ahead if you want." Reika told her pokemon, they all nodded and flew off, leaving Sakura with Reika. "So Saku, what should I name the Shellder?" Reika asked her fateful dragon pokemon. "*I hate ta say dis boss, but I have no clue.*" Sakura said in a fake accsent, Reika chuckled. "Fine then... I'll name him Cloyst." Reika said, starting to walk again, Sakura followed.
