Allison walked along with Autumn and Chester, while Taro ran playfully along next to her, and Zip flew around in the trees above.

Pikachu continued to hang around on top of Autumn's head and Eevee and Growlithe playfully chased each other. Chester watched the pokemon, happy that they all got along. "Alright, I hope we get out of this forest sooner or later, it's kinda creepy..." Autumn whispered, mostly to herself. Pikachu twitched his ears, as if to say he agreed. Eevee and Growlithe didn't seemed bothered though, they continued to joyfully play around.

"Yeah," Allison added, "You never know if something's just gonna spring out at you..." Taro though, ignored the creepiness of the forest and happily played. He noticed Eevee and growlithe playing, and walked over to them. "Phanpy Phan?" he asked, wanting to play with them too. Zip just continued flying in lazy loops above them.

"Eeeveee, eeee!" Eevee squeaked and touched Taro with her nose. Then she ran away as fast as she can with Growlithe right behind her. "Looks like they're playing tag.." Autumn said. "Taro's it! Haha ^^"

"Phanpy!!" Taro said as he happily chased Eevee and Growlithe. After a while, he eventually tagged Growlithe with the tip of his trunk. "They're sooo cute when they play like that!" Allison exclaimed, watching them go back and forth.

"Yeah, I wish I could play, but I might just step on them ^^;" Autumn added. Growlithe, Eevee, and Taro continued to play for an hour or so. Soon they began looking tired and Eevee, who was the last to be tagged, gave up and fell down on the floor tired. "eeeee..." Autumn laughed and picked Eevee up and carried her for awhile so she could get her strength back.
The trio continued there walk through the forest for a long time.

Suddenly a ragged looking boy burst through the follage, tripping over a root and falling head over heels till he was sprawled out at their feet. Quickly he sprang up and back, eyeing them critically. "Are you guys lost too?" He finally asked. From his attire you might guess he's been out here for a few days, he looked hungry, and a little scared.

"I'm Ben. Who are you." He shot back defensively, but then dropped his guard and looked a little desperately at them. "And have you seen a Psyduck by any chance?" His shock of black hair fell in short rumpled curls around his face, he looked to be about 15, and of Mediteranian origins, with tanned skin and deep brown eyes.

Ben stood erect. "Well, err," He hesitated, worried about his Psyduck, "Great to meet you, I suppose." He shrugged his shoulders, gazing around to see if there was any evidence of Psyduck's being there.

Bic:; "Would you? Really?!" He looked dismally hopeful. "My estate borders the Pelmiac forest. I was gone for a bit, doing errands for my mother, and when I came back, he was missing. I've been searching for three days and now I find myself lost in this wretched wood. I'll reward you all for your help. I just have to find him. What if he's scared...or hurt." He fell back to his knees and looked up at them, seemingly near to tears.

"A Yanma!" He exclaimed with envy and surprise. "Do you think it could fly up and look for my Psyduck? He might have a better range and view up there." Ben smiled a little, hope renewed.
Then he looked at Chester schrucienizingly (I butchered that word, but am too lazy to look it up). "Are you-? No it can't be. What would a member of the Elite Four be doing all the way out here?"

Chester looked down at the ground. "Um, yes, I'm an elite four..." he said quietly. Autumn looked at the boy and reached for a pokeball in her pocket. "I'll also help you, go Scyther!" She threw the pokeball into the air and her female scyther appeared.
ooc: Scyther can fly right? o.O I'm guessing since they haff wings.

Bic:; "Wow! I can't believe it!" Ben's eyes went wide, but Autumn's comment about the Scyther brought him back to his main goal and heartache. "Thank you. Really. I'd still be wandering around this forest endlessly if it weren't for you guys." He sniffed. "The only reason I found you guys in the first place is because I saw your yellow hat and thought it might by my Psyduck. I'm glad I did." He looked at them with big, dramatic, sad eyes and a small smile.

Allison smiled back. "Zip, fly up there and go check it out. We're looking for a Psyduck," Allison said, as her Yanma flew up, getting a better view. He scanned the area for a Psyduck.

Ben kept by the group, not wanting to get lost again. He took another step and paused, the ground seemed unstable beneath him, but how was that possible? Taking another step, the ground collapsed and seemed to swallow them up. "A trap!" He cried out just before he hit the bottom roughly, and after they heard an omninous chuckle from above, and two grunts in Team Opal uniform with masks peered over the side.
"Look what we caught." One said with an amused dark voice.

Allison rubbed a sore spot, and looked up out of the trap. She saw the two grunts, and she cried, "Let us out of here!" Zip heard his trainer yelling, and saw she was in a hole. He aslo saw two strangers standing near the hole, and decided to wait before moving.

"Ooof" Autumn said and pulled her tighter on her head. "Who are you? Let us out of here!" She had an angry look on her face as she stared up at the two grunts. Chester, who was next to her, growled, not likeing the situation.

Both grunts erupted in loud laughter, their wooden masks, a blocky monster-face design, in all shades of purple and pink. "We're Team Opal!" They replied in unison eerily. "We were looking to capture a large Pokemon but you'll do just fine. Don't even think about using your Pokemon to save you-" They warned, as two Mr. Mime's appeared behind them and threw a psychic net over the pit to keep anything from coming out. Ben winced, embarressed that even if he could, his only Pokemon that was entrusted to him was lost. "My my, is that Chester? Member of the Elite Four? I bet you have some powerful Pokemon just waiting to be relieved from you and into our hands." They opened and closed their hands in a grabbing motion for emphasis.
"You can't get them without going through us first!" Ben yelled angrily.
"Not a problem."
"We'll just-"
"Throw some knock out gas in there-"
"And pluck them from you."
"Like candy-"
"From a baby!"
They both laughed, their voices were identical.
Suddenly...there was a loud warcry from in the forest around them. And it was answered by many squawks that surrounded the scene in a rush as everything else grew silent. The twin grunts froze, their Mr. Mime's grew anxious...Ben tried in vain to see what might be making it.
Suddenly, a yellow blob shot out of no where and rocketed into the first grunt's head. Breaking the thin mask and knocking him out cold. There was the padding of footsteps as the yellow blob returned to peer over to the side of the pit. It was a Psyduck, with mud painted in designs on his face and a necklace of Spearow feathers around his neck. Cutting quite the barbaric figure, it ignored the other grunt and the two Mr. Mime's (which were being taken care of by a savage group of Spearows) and stared straight at Ben. But he frowned, as if not quite recognizing him.

Allison looked up at the scenen with wide eyes. "Ben...is that your Psyduck?" she asked, not quite sure at what she was seeing. She rubbed her eyes, thinking it was her imagination. But, the Psyduck remained.

Both the Mr Mimes's concentration was broke, so the net disappeared.
Ben just nodded dumbly at Allison's question. Psyduck waddled off, and it shocked Ben into speech. "Wait! NO COME BACK!!" But it didn't appear for sometime, and when it did, it was dragging along a vine with the help of two Spearow, lowering it carefully into the pit. "That-that's my psyduck." He murmured incredulously. Three days ago, the water duck Pokemon was afraid of its own shadow; he could hardly believe it, but he'd know his Psyduck anywhere, even if he was covered in mud.
Moving asside so Allison and Autumn could get up first, Ben offered to assist them while he tried to sort out his thoughts.
