"Yeh whatever.." He mumbled pushing her a bit. "He broke her bike huh? Strange..." He shrugged and looked at the sky. Static jumped up and shouted (LOOK!) Ashton glanced around "What?" (over there!) Static pointed in the sky. A large bird was flying overhead, a sparkling blue trail and a ribbon tail gliding behind it "Whats that?" Ashton blinked and watched it fly past.

It was clearly an Arcticuno, but it had no interest in stopping or even noticing the two trainers and their Pokémon on the ground. "Arc!" It screeched, continuing its flight.
A Sandshrew ran out from a nearby bush, obviously frightened. "Shrew, Shrew, Sand!" It cried, hiding by the two trainers. A Skitty jumped out after it, a strange look on its face. "Skit..Skit Skitty!" It purred as it spotted Sandshrew. "Skitty!" It shouted again, playfully tackling it.

Kiyana looked up at the ice bird and shivered, she had a severe dislike for water pokemon, and ice pokemon were similar to water. Silver had other ideas. Seeing the Skitty and Sandshrew she jumped off her trainer and towards the Skitty.
/What are you doing?/ She asked.
Kiyana pulled her red coat tighter, trying to get rid of the shiver.
"Is it gone?" She asked, looking at the ground.

The two Pokémon quickly stopped their quarreling and gazed as the Articuno flew out of view. The Skitty purred at the Sandshrew, who immediatly clambered on up Kiyana's leg, finally coming to a rest with its legs wrapped around her head. "Shrew..." It said relieved. The Skitty jumped toward it, but missed, falling on the ground beside Ashton.

Kiyana looked at the Sandshrew, glad for the distraction.
"Is there a reason you're sitting up there?" She asked it with a smile.
From the ground Silver looked up at and shot an evil glare at the rock pokemon. That was her spot. Kiyana smiled at Silver.
"Up you come." She said, offering Silver her arms. The Eevee grinned and leaped into them, nuzzling up against her trainer.

Ashton laughed. He picked up the Skitty and petted it. "I think you better leave this poor sandshrew alone! See Kiyana, i told you guys dont like you girls chasing after them" (uh i think i got the right idea here... ahem) He grinned and placed the Skitty next to Pichu.

The Skitty almost completely ignored Ashton's command, and, when placed next to Static, growled slightly. "Skit...Skitty, Skit!" It cried, playfully Tackling the poor Pichu. "Skitty!" It said again, batting around its own tail.
Meanwhile, the Sandshrew fixated itself in just the right way. He was now on her head, his tail hanging down by her nose. "Shrew..." It said slothly, falling down off of the girls head, landing in her arms next to Eevee. It is there that it fell asleep, completely exhausted from its 'battle' with the Skitty.

"Ahh! Static!" Ashton yelped (yikes get the crazy cat off me!) He pulled the Skitty off Static and in the process fell backward. "Uhh" mumbled Ashton dazed holding the Skitty in the air.

"Skitty!" It cried, flailing its body back and forth, trying to free itself. Angrily, it used one of its highest attacks, Sing. "Skiiiittttyyy..." It began calmly, getting gentler and gentler until Static, Silver, and the Sandshrew all fell asleep almost immediately. It caused Ashton and Kiyana to become sleepy as well. "Skit..." It ended, a strange glare in its eye. It bounded up and continued to use a weak Tail Whip on all of them. "Skit!"

"Why you little brat." Kiyana said, rather annoyed that Skitty would do that. Placing the two pokemon in her arms on the ground she eyed the Skitty, tempted to attack it herself. Taking a deep breath she turned to Sandshrew and Silver. She pulled one of her spare pokeballs from her pocket.
"Lets see if I can do this without battling you." She said, throwing the pokeball at the rock pokemon.

The Sandshrew flinched, but then, without putting up a fight, was sucked inside the Pokéball. "Shrew!" The Pokéball fell with a thud and shook three or four times, finally coming to a complete stop. The Skitty, horrified of what had just happened, jumped forward to try to save her playmate from the 'evil ball.' "Skitty!" It cried, waking everyone else up. It made a lunge for the Pokéball.

Kiyana swiped at the pokeball. "I wouldn't brat." she said to the Skitty, holding up a second ball. She didn't want to catch it, the cat like pokemon had caused her enough annoyance for her to even consider it. But it would be interesting to see how it would react to this.

Yawning sleepily, Ashton stood up and growled "Stupid little cat" He went to grab his Pokeball, but tripped over from drowsiness. Swirls in his eyes he sighed "Urrr... Stupid cat..."

The Skitty stared blankly at Kiyana and her Pokéball, and then, after it was struck with Thundershock, bounded toward Static and Ashton. "Skitty!" It cried in hate and agony, charging at Static with a Tackle attack. "Skit, Skit, Skitty!" It screamed as it made contact, not causing enough damage to celebrate.

Static: 91%

"Static! Use your Thundershock attack again!" Ashton commanded his eyes glinting 'Wow my first real Pokemon battle' He thought to himself pointing to the Skitty.

The Skitty simply stared at the Pichu for about fifteen seconds before it used Thundershock. "Skitty!" She cried, charging at Static with a Tail Whip. About four feet ahead of the Pichu, it leaped up, slamming its tail down on the poor electric Pokémon. "Skit." It said, running back to its original place. The Thundershock hit directly, leaving her paralyzed.
Skitty: 70% +Paralysis
Static: 89%

The Skitty, unable to move, took a Critical Hit with Tail Whip, also lowering her own defense. "Skiiiitttty!" She cried from the corner of her mouth, still unable to control her tail, head, limbs, or any other part of her body. She cannot attack this turn.

Bored with watching the battle Silver leaped onto her trainers head and started humming some notes.
Kiyana grinned and sung along softly.

Ashton glanced over at Silver and Kiyana and grinned "You guys are really good!" Ashton hummed the tune to himself and laughed, eyes sparkling with happiness. 'Ive never been this happy before' he thought to himself and jumped.

The Skitty, still paralyzed from Static's last Thundershock attack, could only lay motionless on the ground as it was struck even harder than last time. Without motion, it cried out, "Skiiiittttyyyyyy!!!" The electricity flowed freely through the cat-like Pokémon, that is, until it spread out into the ground, naturally, of course.
Skitty: 35% -Defense +Paralysis
Static: 89%

The Skitty, finally able to move from its dreaded death bed, leapt away from where it THOUGHT the attack would land, but actually ended up right in it. "Skiiiit!" She cried, collapsing to the ground again. "Skiiii...ty!" She ran towards Static, jumped and used Tail Whip.
Skitty: 17% -Defense -Catchable!
Static: 76% -Defense
